On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal is considered. Pursuant to MCR 7.302(F)(1), we REMAND this matter to the Recorder's Court for the City of Detroit, and DIRECT that court, within 14 days of the date of this order, to appoint new counsel to file in this Court a supplemental brief in support of the defendant's application for leave to appeal. The Recorder's Court must promptly forward to the Clerk of this Court a copy of the appointment order, and must promptly provide new counsel with any portion of the record that counsel requires. Appointed counsel must file the supplemental brief with this Court within 56 days after the date of appointment.
